Instead, Travel Oregon culled together a list of what is known as the “7 Wonders of Oregon,” a collection of the state’s most impressive scenes (some of which make an appearance in the new movie "Wild" starring Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon).
The 7 Wonders of Oregon
In the film, Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon plays Cheryl Strayed to tell the true story of Strayed’s solo journey along the Pacific Crest Trail.
“I had no idea how beautiful Oregon was until we got here. I’ve just been blown away,” Witherspoon said in an interview about the film. Most of the film was shot in Oregon, the crew showcasing the state’s varied scenery on the big screen.
